Our Milestones
- 1985 – Cryogenic Engineers was founded by S.Ravindhra Reddy as a HVAC contracting firm to execute projects for OEMs.
- 1997 – D.Balaji was inducted as a Partner. The firm was appointed as the first Dealer in Chennai for Blue Star.
- 1998 – In view of the increased business the firm was upgraded as a Pvt Ltd entity. The first dealer in Chennai to do so.
- 1999 – Introduced the concept of opting for copper cables in places of aluminium cables which was the norm at that period. This drastically brought down failure rates leading to the OEMs themselves adopting copper cables.
- 2000 – Introduced the concept of Theatre Air-Conditioning with Packaged Air-Conditioners. This became the standard template for all theatres in Tamilnadu who went for Air-Conditioning using our design as the base model.
- 2001 – First in the dealer network to actively promote the usage of SCROLL Compressors even though there was reluctance among others due to higher prices. Our clients who opted for SCROLL Compressors later understood the benefits and have appreciated our efforts in guiding them correctly.
- 2002 – Opened a full fledged branch in Trichy to render immediate service to our customers in that region.
- 2003 – First in the dealer network to introduce many new technician benefits like company accommodation, training, insurance and safety measures. This later became the standard for others in the industry.
- 2004 – First in the dealer network to actively promote TANDEM SCROLL compressors. This introduced the entry level concept of Power Saving in the HVAC industry.
- 2005 – First in the dealer network to introduce the concept of Features- Analysis-Benefits (FAB ) model of business promotion. This has helped us to stay away from price cutting business model or negative marketing. This was very much appreciated by the OEMs.
- 2006 – First in the dealer network to actively promote HIGH PERFORMANCE Packaged Air-Conditioning. This upgraded the concept of Power Saving in the HVAC industry. Clients who opted for High Performance units were benefitted by our efforts.
- 2010 – Pioneered the usage of heavy duty air handling units with condensing units, as replacement for packaged air-conditioner. This was in view of emergence of large area retail segments.
- 2017 – D.Dilli Babu who has wide international exposure in MNC joined as a partner. Manufacturing facilities and product design were upgraded to achieve 20 % power saving features and extended life cycle.
- 2018 – Introduced BLACK FIN COATING for outdoor units to enhance the life cycle. This is the first time in India.
- 2020 – Air Cooled Scroll Chiller (ACSC) is our very innovative new product to be launched very soon..

- Introduction of PC Monitoring and Remote Monitoring Facility to reduce service response time.
